THE PROM
We started production with a bang, building a stylized block of New York’s glittery 44th Street in downtown Los Angeles. My work went beyond illuminated signs and posters and included decorative panels on our Shubert Theatre facade and an elaborate mosaic tile floor for the interior. Other highlights included a variety of championship banners and floor vinyls for James Madison High School, as well as punchy backlit posters to bring our color palette into the mall performance of “Love Thy Neighbor.” Our final graphics project was completed just days before production was paused for the pandemic. Glittery photobooth-style signs were created for our actors to hold during the closing credits. We made so many, it was fun to see what was ultimately chosen.

BIRDS OF PREY
This was a truly delightful production all around. I had a fair amount of brand-building to do, as we dropped Janus Corporation Easter eggs throughout the sets, illustrating the influence the Sionis family had in Gotham. We also sought to keep the Gotham Police mostly grounded in reality as a contrast to Harley’s colorful escapades.
